At 68, I would have thought I had learned my lessons well. But no. I am ever learning.
Beginning a writing career at this age is interesting. The biggest challenge is: learning to use rejections to energize writing, not give up. Also - staying with a project till it is ready for publication. The disappointment over how long getting Coincidental Inn published after we signed contract May 2023 is like a magnet that keeps pulling me away from forward progress.
Challenges are good for us. They are opportunities for growth, good, maturity...But challenges don't "feel" good at first. They can be full of fear and doubt in self. They are opportunities to trust God. More. Again. Still. Always. Opportunities to learn deeper praise and gratitude towards my life.
So - Mr Curve, have at it@ Sling me along this new trajectory and let us find out what is on the other side!
Mazel tov!!
